How to Create a Security Transformation

Government agencies are changing the way they achieve their missions. They are procuring, deploying, and even creating their own digital services to help meet rising citizen and employee demands. This collective effort is called digital transformation, and it’s the way forward for government.

But with digital transformation comes inherent security risks. New tools and connections can increase vulnerabilities to agency networks, as well as overcomplicate the IT environment. To reduce risk and safeguard agency systems, government must pursue a security transformation, as well.

This video explains how a security fabric, rather than one-off platforms or tools, can increase cybersecurity even as agencies innovate. In three lessons, we explain the risks of digital transformation and discuss the components of a more robust security transformation.

Finally, we define a security fabric and examine how it can transform agency operations and innovation.
