This report is part of a series that appraises various IT and cybersecurity occupations using natural language processing (NLP) .1 This particular study examines the role of vice president or director (head) of network engineering and operations from the vantage point of both employers and jobseekers . Findings show that the head of network engineering and operations is seen as strategic, with employers seeking analytical and leadership soft skills and more generalist hard skills that point in the direction of strategic risk management.
